Alpha Environmental offers a comprehensive program of Biological Testing, Certification and Preventive Maintenance services for Biosafety Cabinets, Laminar Flow Units and Fume Hoods.
Our experience includes service to Hospital Labs, Genetics Labs, Pharmacy Labs, and University and Industrial Research Laboratories. Biological Safety Cabinets are tested to NSF 49-2004 standards. Laminar Flow Units are tested to the protocol outlined in IEST-Recommended Practice-CC-002-86. Fume Hoods are tested to ANSI/AIHA standards. Our certification and test equipment is NIST Traceable and calibrated annually to manufacturers’ standards.
The service includes a detailed report of procedures, measurements and any adjustments performed along with notification of upcoming required certification dates to insure compliance to regulatory standards or internal policy and recommendations for extending the life of the cabinet components.
In additional to a typical inspection and certification we provide your institution or firm with service that can include:
